About M.O.D.G.
M.O.D.G. Community Playgroup was established over 30 years ago and was originally situated within Mother of Divine Grace School for 25 years. We are now based on Glasnevin Avenue, Dublin 11. The playgroup is staffed by three experienced and highly qualified early childhood educators. Our playgroup provides places for twenty two children annually.
M.O.D.G participates in the ECCE (Early Childhood Care & Education) Scheme which entitles children to two years free preschool and also participates in the NCS (National Childcare Scheme) which helps parents to meet childcare costs.

What we doOur playgroup operates a play based curriculum which link the four themes set down by Aister(The National Curriculum Framework).
1. Well being 2. Communication 3. Exploring & Thinking 4. Identity & Belonging Children learn while playing and having fun, this is our aim for the children in our care. Children are unique and have their own individual ways of learning, through observation we will hone in and provide a wide range of activities which will allow your child to progress in all areas of development. The Mission Statement of M.O.D.G. Community Playgroup is to work in partnership with parents, guardians, families and the relevant agencies and groups to foster and promote the well-being and development of children in our community. We strive to ensure that your child's time with us will be happy, enjoyable and good preparation for their transfer to primary school.
