What we do We operate a Play Based Curriculum which provides for the needs of the whole child, i.e. physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social. This is based on the theory that play is the most natural and effective way a child learns and develops. Each child’s needs are individual and unique and are met through careful observations on an ongoing basis with the provision of a range of materials, activities and experiences.
Mission StatementThe Mission Statement of Butterflies Community is to aid the development of the child through Identity and Belonging, Communication, Well-being and Exploring and Thinking (Aistear curriculum) in a caring and child friendly environment, working in partnership with parents, guardians, families and the relevant agencies.
