A Little About UsFinglas Community Playgroup Association Ltd has been serving the Finglas community since November 1974. There are currently five well established playgroups, in the Finglas and Glasnevin area. The playgroups are Ballygall Community Playgroup, Butterflies Community Playgroup, Glenhill Community Playgroup, Griffith Community Playgroup, and M.O.D.G. Community Playgroup. We are a community based service and a not for profit company limited by guarantee, with charitable status. The governing Board of Management consists of people from the local community. Recent Updates
All of our preschoolers are busy this month, as we are coming close to the end of the term. Some of our children will be leaving soon to move on to Primary School!! Each playgroup have their end of year trip. This includes Newgrange Farm & Go Kids Go.
Last month our staff all attended training for understanding and supporting behaviour in neurodivergent children. Staff gave brilliant feedback of how they got on.

Our Staff
FCPAL permanently employ 14 Early Years Practitioners. We also employ additional practitioners through the Access and Inclusion support programme (AIM). All of our staff are highly skilled and qualified with up to date training and awards in Early Childcare & Education and certified in First Aid Response. Our staff are all garda vetted before commencing employment. All practitioners are trained in Child Protection, Child Safe-Guarding, and Manual Handling.
