About Glenhill
Glenhill playgroup is located in Glenhill Lodge and has been here for over twenty years. It is run by three experienced and highly qualified early childhood educators. The playgroup caters for 14 children annually. Glenhill participates in the ECCE (Early Childhood Care & Education) Scheme which entitles children from age 2 years & 8 months, on the 1st of September each year to two years free preschool. Glenhill also participates in the NCS (National Childcare Scheme) which helps parents to meet childcare costs.

What we do We operate a Play Based Curriculum which provides for the needs of the whole child, i.e. physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social. This is based on the theory that play is the most natural and effective way a child learns and develops. Each child’s needs are individual and unique and are met through careful observations on an ongoing basis with the provision of a range of materials, activities and experiences.
